Smooth Taco Soup

Ingredients
19 oz. garbanzo beans rinsed and drained19 oz. kidney beans rinsed and drained10 oz. condensed tomato soup5.5 oz. tomato paste2 tsp. taco seasoning, or to taste2.5 cups of water
Directions
Blend beans with soup until smooth. (I used a hand blender.) Add the rest of the ingredients, and heat until boiling. Simmer, stirring often, until ready to eat. Good served with some low-fat grated cheddar, a dollop of fat-free yogurt, salsa, and multi-grain tortilla chips for dipping. Makes about 9 1-cup servings.

    First, the taste is awesome, though nothing like a taco! It was super easy and fast to make, and the whole family gobbled it up. I love the protein packed beans and how smooth it all turned out. I added some pepper and extra taco seasoning for extra kick, and YUMYUMYUM, so good! Thanks! - 3/4/11
