Homemade Taco Meat by Amanda Formaro

Ingredients
2 teaspoons instant minced onion1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon chili powder1/2 teaspoon cornstarch1/2 teaspoon crushed red peppers1/2 teaspoon garlic powder1/4 teaspoon oregano1/2 teaspoon ground cumin1 pound ground beef1/4-1/2 cup water
Directions
To make seasoning mix, mix together the first eight ingredients, set aside. Brown ground beef and drain off the fat. Add water and the dry seasoning mixture. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 20-25 minutes. If mixture gets too thick before cooking is complete, add a small amount of water to thin. Serve on taco shells with your favorite toppings.
