Ingredients
2 14 oz cans stewed tomatoes2 large boneless skinless breasts about 1 lb1/2- of a whole sausage (smoked hillshire farms turkey) 7oz10 oz shrimp, deveined no shell no tail. cooked1 whole bell pepper chopped1 cup chicken broth1 whole oniona bit of tapatio or other hot sauce to taste1 tbsp or more creole or cajun seasoning1/2 tsp thyme 2 bay leaves4 cups cooked long grain white rice
Directions
cut up raw chicken sausage vegies and add everything to your slow cooker except shrimp and cooked white rice (wait on shrimp till just before you eat or it will be tough add cooked white rice 10 min before shrimp) also add cajun or creole seasoning to taste thyme and bay leaves (dont forget to remove at the end). cook 4 hours in a slow cooker on high, or 8 hours on low add 4 cups cooked white rice 10min before you eat, add rinsed cooked shrimp 5 min before eating makes 8 : 1.5 cup servings
