Grandma's Raisin Cookies

Ingredients
Raisins, 2 cup (not packed) (remove)Water 1 cupButter, whipped, 1 cup (remove)Granulated Sugar, 2 cup (remove)Egg, fresh, 3 large (remove)Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp (remove)*Flour, white, 4 cup (remove)Baking Powder, 1 tsp (remove)Baking Soda, 1 tsp (remove)Salt, 1 tsp (remove)Cinnamon, ground, .25 tsp (remove)Nutmeg, ground, .25 tsp (remove)
Directions
IN SAUCEPAN ADD:
Raisins, 2 cup (not packed)
Water 1 cup
Boil together for 5-7 minutes, let cool.
CREAM TOGETHER:
Butter, whipped, 1 cup
Granulated Sugar, 2 cup
ADD:
Egg, fresh, 3 large
Cooled raisins and juice
Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
*Flour, white, 4 cup
Baking Powder, 1 tsp
Baking Soda, 1 tsp
Salt, 1 tsp
Cinnamon, ground, .25 tsp
Nutmeg, ground, .25 tsp

Stir well and drop from teaspoon onto parchment covered cookie sheet. Bake at 325 F for 15 - 20 minutes
