Grain-free Primal Apple-Cardamom Breakfast Popover

Ingredients
Recipe1 cup almond flour (or almond meal)¼ tsp salt¼ tsp baking soda1 apple, peeled, cored, and diced2 tbs butter½ tsp ground cardamom (feel free to use less… I like the bold flavor)½ tsp vanilla extract1 egg1 tbs honey
Directions
Combine almond flour, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl. Melt the butter in a skillet and sauté the apples over med heat until softened. Add the apples and butter to the flour mixture along with the rest of the ingredients and mix until smooth. Transfer the batter to a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet in four large spoonfuls. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes 4 biscuits.
