Rice and Gravy with Meatballs

Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef1 cup chopped onions1/2 cup chopped bell peppers1 egg1/2 cup Italian style bread crumbs1 cup sliced mushrooms1 can low-sodium beef broth2 tbsp Tony Chachere's brown gravy mix3 cups brown rice
Directions
Season ground beef. Mix with green peppers, half of the onions, egg and bread crumbs. Form into meatballs.


Brown meatballs in a skillet. Drain fat. Remove meatballs from the skillet and put aside.


Add remaining onions to the skillet and brown. Add broth, gravy mix and mushrooms to the skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and re-add meatballs. Simmer for 20 minutes or until meatballs are completely cooked.


Serve over rice.
