Ingredients
Directions
* 1 1/2 cups Blueberries, frozen* 1 1/2 cups Raspberries, frozen* 1/3 cup Orange Juice (100% juice, no added sugar)* 2/3 cup Water* 1/4 cup Honey~~~~~~~~~~* 3 tbsp. Corn Starch* 1/4 cup cold Water
1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the frozen berries, 2/3 cup water, orange juice, and honey. Stir gently, and bring to a boil over medium heat.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together the corn starch and 1/4 cup cold water. Gently stir into the berry mixture. (Avoid crushing the berries as best as you can.)
3. Simmer gently on low until thick enough to cover the back of a metal spoon, 2 to 3 minutes.
4. Remove from heat, and allow to cool. (Can be served warm / room temperature, or cold.)
5. Makes ten 1/4-cup 'servings'. Enjoy! :) (Great as a vanilla ice cream topping, and healthier if served over something like whole wheat waffles or pancakes!)
