I just made these and I would definitely cut the spices in half. - 11/7/11

Very tasty. I'm definitely making these again. Instead of using 1C. of chips I used 3/4C. They were still chocolaty delicious. - 11/17/10

I subbed 1cup of oats for 1cup of flour and skipped the spices except cinnamon (only because I didn't have all the others) and they turned out amazing! I will be making them again....and again! YUMMY! - 12/21/08

The spices were really strong. My 3 1/2 son ate them but he was the only one. I was only able to eat one and it was just too much. They were really moist. I don't think I will make them again since I would have to tweak them and it made so many. I got a lot more than 34 in my batch. - 12/15/08

Very moist & chewy. Not that sweet if you don't include the choc chips so prob sub some brown sugar instead OR make light cream cheese frosting like I did. - 11/22/07
