Asparagus Vinagrette

2 lbs asparagus 1/4 cup wine or sherry vinegar2 TBS olive oil2 tsp granulated sugar1 oz toasted sesame seeds
Remove woody ends of asparagus and discard. Slant cut asparagus into 1 to 2 inch lengths. Steam for 3 to 4 minutes (until done to your preference) and cool with cold water immediately. Mix vinegar, olive oil and sugar. Just before serving toss asparagus with dressing, and then sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
