Green Chile Soup

1 tablespoon butter1/2 cup finely diced onions (I use the PicSweet frozen)1 teaspoon minced garlic ( I use the jar kind)1 (4oz can) of diced or sliced green chiles1 (5oz can) of canned chunk white chicken1 1/2 tsp of ground cummin1 (10.75oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup1 1/4 cups fat free half-and-half cream
Melt butter in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Saute onion until transparent. Stir in the garlic, green chiles, chicken meat, and cumin. Cook for one minute to blend the flavors. Stir in the cream of chicken soup and fat free half-and-half. Cook until heated through, about 5 minutes. Ladle hot soup into bowls. Top with grated cheese if preferred (not calucalated in total calories).
