Yellow Split Pea Soup w/Canadian Bacon (Crock Pot)

8 cups: Water1 lb.: Yellow Split Peas1 1/2 c.: Carrots, diced1/2 c.: Onions, chopped1/2 c.: Celery, chopped6 oz.: Canadian Bacon, diced1 tsp.: Salt1 tsp.: Dried Thyme Leaves1/4 tsp.: Dried Rosemary Leaves, crushed1/4 tsp.: Black Pepper
1. Mix all ingredients in 3 1/2 to 6-quart slow cooker.
2. Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 10 hours or until peas and vegetables are tender.
3. Place 2 cups of the soup in blender or food processor. Cover and blend on medium speed until smooth; pour into a bowl. Repeat with 2 more cups of soup. Stir all blended soup into soup in slow cooker.
