Rock Cookies

Ingredients
2 cups butter3 cups brown sugar, packed6 eggs, lightly beaten1/2 cup whiskey, or enough6 cups flour1/2 teaspoon cloves1 teaspoon nutmeg1 teaspoon cinnamon1 teaspoon vanilla extract2 pounds nutsRaisins, optional
Directions
Cream butter and sugar, add dry ingredients.
Stir in a little egg and flour mixture until well mixed.
Save some flour for nuts and raisins about 1/2 cup.
Mix nuts and raisins in last.
Chill in refrigerator overnight. Roll in balls about the size of a walnut.
Bake in 400 degree oven about 15 minutes.
Watch closely because they burn easily.
No not grease cookie sheet.
Wet hands when handling dough.
Dough will be very thick.
