Cranberry Cherry and Walnut Chutney

Ingredients
1 cup sugar1 cup water1/2 cup port or other sweet red wine1/4 teaspoon ground allspice1/2 cup dried tart cherries1 (12-oz) package fresh cranberries2/3 cup chopped walnuts, toasted1/2 teaspoon grated orange rind1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Directions
Combine sugar, water, wine and allspice in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add cherries and cook 1 minutes. Stir in cranberries & bring to a boil. Reduce heat as simmer 10 minutes or until cranberries pop. Remove from heat. Stir in walnuts, grated orange rind and extract. Cover & chill.
