Corn Pone Pie

Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground turkey1 can diced tomatoes, no salt added1 can veg-all mixed vegetables1 can light red kidney beans2 small cans tomato sauce, no salt added1 medium onion, chopped2 cups corn meal1 cup skim milk (1%)
Directions
Brown turkey and onion in a little olive oil. Add remaining ingredients (in soup pot) and simmer on medium to low heat (depending on your stove) for about 45 minutes. After 45 minutes pour mixture into a 9x13 inch cake pan. Next take the corn meal and mix together with the milk to make a cornbread batter (you may need to add more more milk to make it thinner) now pour this batter over the vegatable mixture. Now place this into a 425 degree oven until the cornbread mixture is browned.
