Healthy banana oatmeal cookie

Ingredients
3 mashed ripe bananas3 c cooking oats1/2 c non-sweetened applesauce1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips2 T pure maple syrup1 t. cinnamon1/2 t nutmeg1 t vanilla extract
Directions
Using a food processor, grind down 1 cup of oats to a fine powder - like flour. Add that and the rest of the ingredients to the mashed banana and mix well.

Use a scoop or melon baller to place 22 cookies on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Smash just a bit with the bottom of a cup, they will stay in whatever shape you put them.

Bake 325 oven for 10 minutes. Remove and cool on racks.
