Protein-Rich Crockpot Steel-Cut Oats

Ingredients
1 c. steel-cut oats2 scoops Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein Powder1/2 c. milk (I used 1%; soy, almond or skim would work fine)4 c. water1 tblsp. cinnamon1 tsp. nutmeg
Directions
Spray crockpot with cooking spray (don't skip this step!). Combine all ingredients and stir well. Cover and cook on low for 8 -9 hours.

Serve with your choice of sweetener, nuts, and fresh or dried fruit.

A tip: Corelle makes cereal bowls with microwaveable lids (Wal-Mart carries them). I divvy up the recipe between 5 bowls, put the lids on and stick them in the 'fridge. In the morning, I can put a bowl directly into the microwave and have my breakfast ready in just a minute!
