Spiced Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients
12 oz. cranberries whole cranberries (approx 2 cups)1/2 cup granulated sugar1/4 c splenda sugar blend for baking1 tsp dried orange peel, or 1 tbsp. fresh peel chopped fine1/2 cup water1/2 cup orange juice1 tsp vanilla extract1- 3" cinnamon stick
Directions
1. Place all ingredients, except vanilla, in large saucepan. Mix well. Bring to boil on medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 45 minutes or until very thick, stirring occasionally.
2. Remove from heat; set aside to cool to room temperature. Remove and discard cinnamon stick and stir in vanilla. Cover.
3. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve

Keep refrigerated for 1 week.
