Pork Chops with Spiced Apple Sauce

Pork Chops, 3-41 Gala Apple, diced and cored1 Spanish or Vidalia onion, diced1 tsp fresh thyme1 cup Chicken Broth2 tbsp EVOO1 tbsp butter1 tsp Cinnamon1 tsp Nutmeg
Heat a pan on high heat with 2 tbsp of olive oil. It might look like a lot, but it goes into the sauce. Sear the pork chops on each side until brown, about 2 minutes a side, and remove to a plate for later.
Melt the butter in the pan you were using. Add the apple, onion, thyme, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Cook while stirring until onion and apple are soft, about 3-5 minutes. Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add back the pork and finish cooking. Serve pork with the sauce.
