Fried Tofu

Ingredients
Tofu, extra firm, 1 block Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tbsp Basil, 2 tbsp Pepper, black, 1 tbsp Sea Salt, 1 serving Flour, whole grain, 50 grams
Directions
Heat skillet, medium heat with olive oil. Cut tofu block into four pieces. Mix the basil, pepper, garlic powder, and sea salt together in a small bowl combine well. Sprinkle seasoning on each side of the tofu pieces. Lightly coat each side with flour and drop into skillet. Discard excess flour.

Brown each side – takes approximately 3-4 minutes per side. Watch closely to prevent scorching. Serves two. Goes well with brown rice and green beans or good for making a sandwich.
