Low Carb Bread

Ingredients
Add the oil/ butter (3 tbsp), 1 cup warm water, and 1 egg to the bread machine.Next add all dry ingredients:1 cup vital wheat gluten1/4 cup ground flax1/3 cup soya flour1/4 cup wheat bran1/4 cup oat bran2 tbsp sunflower seeds1 tsp sugar( If you like a sweeter bread, add 1-2 tbsp of splenda. The sugar is necessary to make your yeast work.)You can really mix and match the dry ingredients, substituting one for another.Last, add the yeast (1 tsp bread machine yeast), and salt to taste. I add 1 tsp. salt, and sometimes vanilla.Put the bread machine on rapid setting.This bread is really good -- my husband now prefers it to store brought bread, and the carb savings is incredible!!
Directions
Use the rapid bake setting on your bread machine. Mine takes 75 minutes, though I often pull the plug after 65, so the crust isn't too dark.
