Slow-Cooker Buffalo Stew

Ingredients
1 lb cubed buffalo meat1 lb red potatoes, quartered4 carrots, chopped1 large onion, chopped1 bottle of beer (a pale ale or brown ale is great for this)3 cups low-sodium vegetable brothsalt and pepperdash of cinnamon2 bay leaves
Directions
Sear the buffalo meat in a pan to get a nice brown edge to it. Add to the crock-pot along with the chopped vegetables, beer, broth, and spices. Set for 5-6 hours, stirring every once in a while. Serve when everything is nice and tender.
