slow cooker stuffed peppers

Ingredients
Lean Ground Turkey 16 0z2 cups SalsaCanned tomatoes ( I use low sodium)Instant rice 1 cup ( can use more)6 large green pepperlarge onion2% cheddar cheese 3/4 cup2 cups pasta sauce (marinara)
Directions
place chopped onion, canned tomatoes, and ground turkey in pan, brown. #/4 through cooking add 1 cup water and 1 cup instant rice. Stir and cook thoroughly. Cut tops off green peppers, remove seeds and guts. Pack approximatley 1 cup of meat mixture into green pepper. Sprinke cheese on top of pepper and meat mixture. Replace the top of the pepper. Mix salsa and marinara pour 1/3 of mixture into bottom of slow cooker (line for easy cleanup) placve peppers in slow cooker anmd cover with remaining sauce. Cook on low-medium heat until tender 4-6hrs depending on cooker.
