Ingredients
2 cups rolled oats2 cups Oat Bran2 cups Enjoy Life-Perky's crunchy rice cereal (or other rolled grain rye, barley, or rice flakes)1/2 cup Cranberries, dried, sweetened, (or other dried fruit)1 cup raw sunflower or pumpkin seeds1/2 cup almonds1/2 cup walnuts1 cup ground flax seed (must be ground, store in fridge)1 cup ground milk thistle seed 1/2 cup food quality Chia Seed1 tsp Cinnamon, ground (optional)1 tsp Fennel seed (optional)1 tsp Corriander (optional)1 tsp ground tumeric (optional)
Directions
mix all ingredients in large bowl blending in spices and seeds. If grinding your own milk thistle and flax seed you can use an old coffee grinder. Transfer into an air tight container. Cereal should be soaked in almond milk, juice, or water for 30 minutes or overnight before serving. Many of the ingredients can be found at your local health food store. Store cereal in airtight container in refrigerator.
Delicious served with almond milk and blueberries.
