1/4 c. butter, melted¼ c. cherry (or prune) butter, unsweetened1/3 c. sugar1/3 c. brown sugar1 ½ tsp. vanilla extract2 eggs½ c. all-purpose flour1/3 c. cocoa½ tsp. baking powder¼ tsp. salt½ c. dried cherries½ c. fresh mint leaves, chiffonade
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9” pan.
In large mixing bowl blend melted butter, sugars and vanilla.
Add eggs and beat well.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Blend gently into egg mixture.
Stir in dried cherries and fresh mint.
Spread into prepared pan.
Bake 20 minutes. Cool completely in pan.
