Ingredients
230 ml warm semi skimmed milk25g margarine25g white sugar30 ml warm water1 packet (7g) active yeast360g white flour1 tsp salt
Directions
.- Melt the margerine in a pan and add the milk and warm it - not too hot - the temperature should be lukewarm. If it is too hot, leave the mixture to cool until it is at the correct temperature. Put the yeast and warm water into a bowl. Add the sugar and the warm milk mixture and leave for around 10 minutes, until the surface is frothy

- Add the salt and the flour a little at a time until you get a dough. Knead the mixture on a clean floured surface for around 10 minutes, adding flour as the mixture become sticky.

- Divide your mixture into 12 equal parts and roll to form balls. Place these on a baking sheet/greased baking tray around 3 inches apart and squash them down flat to around 1 inch thickness. Cover with a clean towel. Allow to rise for an hour.

- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C and bake dough for 15 minutes. Allow to cool, then split buns in two and fill with burgers (I have a recipe for beef burgers - search for Lalalalily's beef burgers.)
