Brown & Wild Rice with Mushrooms and Almonds

One 4 oz. package Farmhouse® Brown & Wild Rice Traditional Herbs & Seasonings 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine 1-1/2 cups mushrooms, sliced 1/4 cup green onions, sliced 1/4 cup slivered almonds 1-1/3 cups water
1.In medium sauce pan, heat butter or margarine. Add rice from package, mushrooms and green onions. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring frequently.
2.Add water and contents of seasoning packet. Heat to a boil.
3.Reduce heat to low-boil. Cover and cook for 25 minutes without uncovering or stirring.
4.Remove from heat. Uncover and let stand for 3-5 minutes.
Serving Size: Makes about four 1 cup servings
