Maple Glazed Peanuts with Bacon

Ingredients
3 thick slices bacon1 tbsp thyme, minced1 tsp salt1/2 tsp cayenne pepper3 cups unsalted roasted peanuts1/2 cup maple syrup
Directions
Preheat oven to 325. Cook bacon over moderate heat til crispy. Drain on papeer towels and finly chop.
Mix thyme salt, pepper, then add peanuts, maple syrup, cooked bacon and toss till peanuts are coated.
Scrape the nuts onto parchment paper lined baking sheet and roast for 30 minutes, stirring once, just till maple syrup has thickened.
Let peanuts cool completely, stirring frequently while cooling to break up clumps.
Transfer peanuts to glass jars or a large bowl and serve.
