SOS: Asian Shrimp Rice Pilaf

Ingredients
1.33 c. white rice2 c. water1 TB honey1 TB soy sauce2 tsp. sesame oil1 clove garlic, minced1/2 c. diced red bell pepper1/2 c. diced fine (or shredded) carrots1/4 c. diced green onions1 lb. shrimp
Directions
Cook the rice in boiling water until cooked-- about 20 min.

Mix the honey through garlic in a small bowl and set aside.

Dice the veggies and set aside.

Thaw shrimp if frozen, or briefly cook in boiling water (1-2 min.)

When the rice is cooked, stir in the cooked shrimp, the liquid ingredients, and the diced vegetables.
