Turkey and Black Bean Chili

1 tbsp olive oil1 large onion, chopped2 med. Red Bell peppers, chopped6 cloves of garlic, minced1 lb ground lean turkey1 tbsp Ancho Chili powder2 tbsp chili powder1 1/2 tsp each ground cumin and Mexican oregano(dried)2-15oz can Black Beans, rinsed and drained1-28 oz can crushed tomatoes3 cups Low Sodium chicken broth
1. In a heavy soup pot over medium heat add 1 tbsp olive oil, onions and peppers. Cook until soft, approx. 5-8 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant Approx 1 min.
2. add in turkey and cook 5-10 minutes until no longer pink. Break up big chunks with a wooden spoon.
3. Add in spices
4. add in remainder of ingredients(beans through chicken broth. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low and cook uncovered form 1 hour or until chili is thickened.
5. serve with favorite chili toppings or cornbread with chopped jalepeņos.
