3 cups granulated sugar3/4 cup unsalted real butter2/3 cup evaporated milk12 oz. bag semi-sweet chocolate chips7 oz. jar marshmallow cream1 tsp. vanilla extract1 cup chopped walnuts OR pecans - optional
-In a 2-quart saucepan, bring sugar, butter, and milk to a rolling boil (240 degrees) for 5 minutes, stirring constantly; remove from heat.
-Stir in chocolate chips, marshmallow cream, vanilla, then nuts.
-Pour into a greased 13" X 9" X 2" pan.
-Cool to room temperature before slicing.

I make this recipe on a regular basis at Christmas and if you only get 20 servings out of this those would be some super large pieces of fudge. I cut 25 bite size pieces of fudge out of 1/2 the recipe this morning. So if you cut it into smaller pieces, the calories arent quite so bad. - 12/11/08

I love this recipe. I just got it from my Mom and was looking on here just to see if anyone had put it up here and now I know the calories. I think all those FAT calories look bad!! I might try it with FF evaporated milk and also different chips like butterscotch. Thanks for putting it up! - 12/1/08
