Breakfast Bread Pudding

Ingredients
2 Eggs3/4 Milk3 T Karo syrup or Honey1 t Vanilla 1 t Ground Cinnamon1 medium-large Apple diced1 1.5 oz box of Raisins5 slices of a whole-grain or whole wheat bread (fresh or stale) cut into 1 inch squares.About 2 T to butter baking dish.
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Mix eggs, milk, karo, vanilla. Then add bread with hands gently toss the bread in the mixture. Add apples and raisins and gently toss till all is mixed. Let sit for 15 minutes. Butter the sides of a 1 1/2 quart dish. You can also cover and refrigerate overnight for convenience in the morning. Cook for 30 minutes covered. Uncover and cook remaining 20 minutes.
