Sirloin beef tips and mushrooms

Ingredients
1 pound sirloin beef tips8 oz portabella mushrooms1/2 cup chopped onion1 Tablespoon olive oil2 cups water, 2 beef bouillon cubes2 Tablespoons corn starchSalt & pepper to taste
Directions
Saute the beef until brown in the olive oil. Add onions, mushrooms and garlic. Saute until flavors blended. Add water, beef bouillon, and simmer for at least 30 minutes. may have to add water as it evaporates. thicken with corn starch.
In a separate pot boil potatoes until tender.
Serves 4

Serving Size: 2 new potatoes with 1 cup of beef and gravy

    This was great! I served it with brown rice. I made the mistake of having the meat marinated already before I saw the recipe and it was very salty. Will try again without marinated meat - 2/6/13
