Egg Nog Bread

2 large eggs1 cup sugar1 cup light egg nog0.5 cup butter1 oz rum2.25 cup flour2 tsp baking powder0.5 tsp salt0.5 tsp nutmeg
Remove eggs and butter from the refrigerator and bring to room temperature. Heat oven to 350F degrees. Grease bottom of a 9x5-inch loaf pan. Beat eggs in a large bowl. Add sugar, eggnog, butter, and rum. Blend well. Add flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Stir just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Pour into greased pan.
Bake at 350F for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minute before; removing from pan. Cool completely.
Wrap tightly and store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
