Chocolate Banana Bread

3 Medium Banana's (overly ripe)3/4C Honey1 Egg1 Tsp Vanilla Extract1/2C Unsweetened Applesauce1 1/2C Flour (I use white, whole grain would better)1/2C Unsweetened Cocoa Powder1 1/2Tsp Baking Powder1/4Tsp Baking Soda1/2Tsp CinnamonDASH Chile Powder
Peel & mash banana's with your potato masher. You want to still have some bigger pieces (think about 1/4" square).
Add honey, egg, vanilla & applesauce & combine.
In another bowl mix the remaining ingredients until combined.
Pour the dry mixture into the wet & mix with a large spoon until combined.
Pour into a greased (Pam spray) loaf pan and cook at 350 for 50 minutes or until a knife or toothpick stuck in the center comes out clean.
Remove from pan while still rather warm for the best results & then allow to finish cooling.
Serving Size: makes approx 10 slices
