Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips

Ingredients
Directions
1/3c butter flavored crisco1/2c sugar2 eggs1c whole wheat flour3/4c AP flour1 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1c mashed banana3/4c chocolate chips (or nuts)
Preheat oven to 350.
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat well.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Add to creamed mixture, alternating with mashed bananas, blending well after each addition.
Stir in chips.
Pour into greased 9" loaf pan (or 12 muffin tin)
Bake for 45-50 min (25-28 for muffins) or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool in pan for 5-10 min, then remove to baking rack to cool completely.
Slice into 12 servings.
