6 cups of your favorite apples or pears (sliced)1 tbsp lemon or lime juice (I use lemon juice for apples & lime juice for pears)2 tbsp white sugar1/4 cup brown sugar1 tbsp tapioca starch1 1/2 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp cloves1/2 tsp nutmeg1/2 cup walnut pieces1/3 cup ground flaxseed1/3 cup stone ground oats
Serves 8
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Combine fruit with lemon or lime juice in a 9" x 9" baking dish greased with sesame oil to coat.
Combine the sugars, tapioca starch, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves and stir until blended.
Add your second mixture to your first mixture. Mix well.
Cook for 40 minutes until apples are brown.
