Ingredients
1/2 c. Crisco Vegetable Oil4 sq. Unsweetened Chocolate Squares, melted2 c. Granulated Sugar4 Eggs2 tsp. Vanilla Extract2 c. White Flour2 tsp. Baking Powder1/2 tsp. Salt2/3 c. Powdered Sugar
Directions
**The cookie batter needs to be refrigerated overnight. The 30 minutes shown for preparation time is to make the batter.

Mix oil, melted chocolate and sugar. Blend in 1 egg at a time until well mixed. Add vanilla extract. Measure sifted flour. Stir flour, baking powder and salt into oil mixture. Chill several hours, or overnight.

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Roll approximately one teaspoon of dough in the palm of your hand to form a ball. Roll the ball of dough in powdered sugar. Place about 2" apart on a baking sheet lightly sprayed with a non-stick coating. Bake 10-12 minuts Do not overbake.

Helpful Hint: I always put the dough back in the refrigerator between baking batches to help avoid the dough sticking to my hands when rolling into a ball.

Note: These do NOT come out well using Splenda and/or Egg Beaters!

Makes 7 dozen cookies.

This is the exact same recipe i've found on 2 other recipe websites. the servings per recipe is just doubled. doesn't count as "healthier" in my book. - 2/6/09
