Asparagus Ham & Onion Appetizer

16 Asparagus Spears 1tsp Extra-virgin Olive Oil Black Pepper 4 Slices of Lean Ham4Tbs Green OnionGarnish with grated Roman Cheese is desired.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Cut the asparagus into trimmed 4 to 5 inches long tips.
Finely chop the green stems of one large green onion.
Lightly coat the asparagus spears with extra-virgin olive oil sprinkle with onion, season with pepper and wrap a stack of 4 with a slice of ham. Tie the stack with string to secure. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Place bundles on slotted broiler pan. Bake 12 minutes.
To grill:
Place bundles on hot grill and cover. Cook 10 to 12 minutes until ham is crisp and asparagus bundles are tender.
