Spaghetti Sauce with low sodium tomatoes

Ingredients
1 pound of italian sausage0.5 cup of chopped onion1 cup of roasted red pepper0.5 cup of chopped green pepper1 cup sliced mushroom5 cloves of chopped garlic1 tablespoon of EVOOBasil, salt, pepper to tastea splash of lemon or wine to taste
Directions
Brown the sausage. Add the EVOO, onion, red pepper, green pepper, garlic, mushroom and saute until the onion is translucent. Add the basil, tomatoes and other seasonings. Simmer for at least 30 minutes but can go much longer.

Serve on regular pasta or on spaghetti squash.
