Cheddar Jack Mac 'n Cheese

1 10 oz package frozen broccoli1 cup elbow macaroni1 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter2 tbsp flour1 1/3 Milk1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese1/2 cup shredded pepperjack cheeseSalt to taste
Steam broccoli 5-10 minutes, until tender.
Cook macaroni according to instructions on package, drain.
Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and whisk to form a paste. Cook 1-2 minutes to elliminate flour taste. Slowly pour in milk, whisking briskly to remove lumps. Continue cooking over medium heat, whisking constantly until milk mixture thickens. Remove from heat and whisk in cheese. Salt to taste.
Add macaroni back to pot. Pour cheese sauce over macaroni, add broccoli, and stir.
