1-2 cups fresh basil 3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder) � cup water (or olive, opt-not included in calculation) as need to blend the basil & garlic Blend the above and add: 3 cups garbanzo beans, (if canned, rinsed and drained) 1-3 tbsp lemon/lime juice 1/2 cup Tahini 2 tsp chili paste or finely chopped, seeded jalapeno chili (more) 3 tsp umi paste 1 tsp salt 1-3 cups water, fresh or cooking water from the garbanzos as needed to blend. More if needed..
Blend the basil, garlic and water or olive oil.
Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend.
Adding more liquid as need to keep the mixture moving.
