1 (1/4 oz.) envelope active dry yeast2 cups warm water (110 degrees)4 cups self-rising flour3/4 cup melted butter1/2 cup chopped fresh chives2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley1/4 cup sugar1 large egg, lightly beaten
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Combine yeast and 2 cups warm water in a large bowl; let stand 5 minutes.
3. Stir in flour and remaining ingredients.
4. Spoon batter into 2 lightly greased 12-cup muffin pans, filling 3/4 full.
5 .Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.
