Alfredo Sauce made w/ Fat Free Half n Half

3 Tbsp. salted butter2 Tbsp (1 oz.) Light cream cheese1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese2 cups fat free half n half1 Tbsp cornstarch1/2 Tbsp. Granulated garlic1/4 tsp Kosher salt1/4 tsp. black pepper
Melt butter in a medium sauce pan. Add cream cheese and soften. Add Parmesan cheese & 1 1/2 cups of half n half. Bring to boil. Stir remaining 1/2 cup half n half with cornstarch until well blended & stir into sauce pan. Return to boil, stirring frequently, and then simmer until thickened. Stir in garlic, salt & pepper.
Serve with your favorite type of whole wheat noodles. I also like to cut up chicken & sautee it in 1/2 tsp of olive oil; seasoning with basil, garlic, salt & pepper.
If you like a little more spice, sprinkle some red pepper flakes over it on your plate.
