Chicken Pozole Soup

Ingredients
Whole ChickenGoya White Hominy, 29 oz Water, tap, approx 16 cup Garlic, 4 tsp Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Cider Vinegar, 4 tbsp Tomato Sauce, .25 cup Basil, 1 tbsp *Chile Powder, 4 tbspFresh quartered lemonCabbage, fresh, 1 head, small (about 4-1/2" dia) Cilantro, raw, 20 tbsp Chopped raw onions
Directions
Boil the chicken in the water with minced garlic and chopped onion. After about an hour and a half to two hours, remove the chicken carefully and debone. Place the deboned chicken back into the water. Add the drained can of hominy, vinegar, tomato sauce, basil and chile powder. Cook together for about 15 more minutes to blend flavors. Serve garnished with fresh cabbage, cilantro, fresh onion chopped and squeezed lemon. Enjoy!

    I added 3 chicken bullion and oregano, blended with a few cups of the chicken broth and added back, cook it for another 15 min and it was awesome! - 10/8/11
