Cauliflower and Broccoli with Fresh Herb Butter

3 tbsp. butter or margarine, softened3 tbsp. finely sliced fresh chives1.25 tsp. chopped fresh OR 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves1 tsp. grated lemon peel1/4 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. pepper3 cups fresh cauliflower florets (about 1 lb)3 cups fresh broccoli florets (about 7 oz)
1. In a 4-quart saucepan, heat 2 quarts water to boiling over high heat. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, stir butter, chives, thyme, lemon peel, salt and pepper until blended; set aside.
2. Add cluliflower to boiling water in saucepan; cook 2 minutes. Add broccoli; cook 2 to 3 minutes longer or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Drain; return to saucepan. Add butter mixture; toss to coat.
Serving Size: Makes 8 servings, approximately 0.5 cups each
