Country Chicken Stew

Ingredients
onions, sweet potato, raw carrot, fresh red cabbage, celery, boneless chicken breasts, dried thyme, pepper, prepared chicken broth, cornstarch, frozen peas
Directions
Place chicken into slowcooker. Layer first 6 ingredients, in order given, over chicken. Do not stir. Cover. Cook on Low for 9-10 hours or on High for 4.5 - 5 hours. Stir second amount of broth into cornstarch and stir until smooth. Add to chicken mixture. Stir. Add peas. Stir well. Cover. Cook on High for 15 to 20 minutes until peas are heated through and sauce is thickened.
