1 lb 97% lean ground beef1 green pepper1 onion2 cloves garlic28 ounce crushed tomatoes 15 ounce tomato sauce2 12 oz light red kidney beans1.5 teaspoon salt.5 teaspoon black pepper.5 teaspoon cumin.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper3 tablespoons chili powder
Brown beef with onion, garlic, green pepper and onion. Add remaining ingredients, plus about 8 oz of water or more, to make it thinner. Bring to boil, reduce heat and cover. Check seasonings and adjust to your liking. Simmer at least 20 minutes, longer is better.
