Yellow rice and chickpeas

2 tbsp olive oil1/2 onion chopped1 small green bell pepper chopped2 cloves garlic minced1 packet sazon 1 tbsp adobo1 tsp oregano6 spanish olive2 tbsp tomato sauce2 cups long grain rice1 can chick peas4 cups water
Saute the onion and pepper in olive oil until onions are tender then add garlic. After about 5 minutes add the oregano, tomato sauce, sazon, adobo and saute until it becomes like a paste. Then add the chick peas and 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil then add the rice. Stir once and boil until almost all the moisture is evaporated(try not to stir more then 2 or 3 times during this process to avoid mushy rice). Once water is evaporated put the flame on low and simmer covered for about 25 minutes. Fluff rice with a fork and let sit for a few minutes to absorb any remaining moisture.
