Adrienne's Chicken Marsala

Ingredients
1/4 C flour1/2 t salt1/4 t black pepper1/4 t oregano2 chicken breasts pounded to 1/4 inch thickness-chicken will be spread out thin enough to cut into serving sized smaller pieces1 T cornstarch2 T butter2 T Olive Oil1 C chicken broth3 sliced garlic cloves3/4 C marsala wine1/4 C fat free half and half
Directions
In a gallon plastic bag, combine flour, salt, pepper & oregano-add chicken pieces on at a time and coat evenly. Place on plate.

In a frying pan big enough for all pieces, melt butter, oil, garlic and about 1/3 of the chicken broth on medium heat.

Place all chicken in pan & lightly brown on one side. Turn chicken pieces over and add mushrooms. Pour in wine and rest of broth. Cover and cook an additional 10 minutes.

Remove chicken pieces and place in serving platter. Add cornstarch and water mixture until sauce starts to thicken. Add half & half, stir till mixed in, then pour over chicken.
