Introduction

Quick and easy low-fat meatballs that are super tasty! Quick and easy low-fat meatballs that are super tasty!
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 lb ground turkey
    1 lb ground chicken
    3 eggs
    1/4 cup skim milk
    1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
    2 cups seasoned bread crumbs
1/2 medium onion (or 1/4 cup dried onions)
    1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning (or mix some oregano, basil, thyme, whatever you like)
    non-stick spray

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350*F.

Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl (it's best if you use your hands).

If you're making meatloaf, put in a large loaf pan that's been sprayed with non-stick spray. Bake for about a hour.

If you're making meatballs, roll in your hands a small bit (about 1 oz.) into balls and place on a sprayed cookie sheet.

Place about 1 inch apart. Bake for 20 minutes.

You can make large amounts of these at a time and freeze them on the baking pan (so they don't freeze together in a big clump).
Then once they're frozen just put them in a freezer bag and reheat only as many as you need!

Fast, easy, awesome! I actually made them in a cupcake pan because I didn't have a meatloaf pan. That way, though, they were individually portioned mini-loaves. Like the original poster said, very freezable. Yum! - 10/3/11

I tried it as written and it was very bland. Then I made it with the addition of soy sauce and it was much better. - 7/31/17

My mouth is watering - I have saved this. I could make a loaf, slice it and freeze for me, as DH isn't keen on turkey. I could have something delicious like this on the days he has his beef sausages! - 9/27/12

I made it with all turkey, too. Having never used seasoned bread crumbs before, I thought the taste might be a little overwhelming, but it was just perfect. Great recipe! - 2/27/10
